Early life
Mukesh Ambani was born in the house of Dhirubhai Ambani and Kokilaben Ambani in the city of Yemen on April 19, 1957. At that time his father used to work in Aden. Mukesh Ambani's younger brother Anil Ambani and his two sisters are also - Deepti Salgonkar and Nina Kothari. By the 1970s Mukesh Ambani's family lived in a two-room house in Bhuleshwar, Mumbai, but Dhirubhai later bought a 14th floor building (Sea Wind) in the Colaba area of ​​Mumbai, where Mukesh and other members of the Ambani family for many years are.

In 1980, when the Indira Gandhi Government filed the P.F.Y. (Polyester Filament Yarn) was opened for private sector, then Reliance also submitted its bid for the license and achieved success in obtaining licenses between Tata, Birla and 43 and veterans. P.F.Y. Dhirubhai Ambani has given Mukesh MBA to build the factory (Polyester Filament Yarn). The studies have been called in between. Mukesh left his studies and went to India and got engaged in the construction of the factory.



Reliance, under the leadership of Mukesh Ambani, established Reliance Infocom Limited (now Reliance Communications Limited) one of India's largest telecom companies.

Mukesh played an important role in establishing the world's largest petroleum refinery at Jamnagar (Gujarat). In 2010, the capacity of this refinery was 660,000 barrels per day, i.e. 3 million 3 million tonnes per year.
